About the green screen
The green screen is an essential part of our setup*. It allows the trainer to be fully blended into the 360-area, creating the proper classroom feeling.
* Note:
the application works perfectly fine without the green screen, however you will see the full camera recording of the trainer in the classroom.
Size
The green screen needs to be at least 2.50m – 3m wide. Otherwise, the Brio camera will also record parts without the green screen, which will immediately show in the classroom.
Setup
You can start with a simple green screen as sold in many (online) stores (link). No special studio is required. This is easy to setup and can be setup anywhere.
Two suggestions for best results:
- straighten the green cloth (creases in the fabric are no problem for the camera)
- select a room with good office or daylight (no studio lights are required but a dark office won’t give the desired result)
We also created a short video about setting up the green screen:
Note:
Some users have opted for a more permanent setup. We will share some photos of these in the future (for your inspiration).
Important
Please don’t wear any green clothes yourself. Our application will filter them out everything which is this type of green (don’t worry: you won’t be shown without clothes, just transparant:-)
